A trip to Rio- Sugarloaf Mountain
Beside the Cristo Redentor at mount Corcovado the most famous emblem of Rio de Janeiro. Two cable cars take you up to 395m. From here you have an incredible view over the city.
The first cable car takes you to a platform with lookouts, restaurants and shops. You already get a beautiful view from here. Small Sagui monkeys running free over the whole are. An accessible „jungletrail“ leads you to the next cable car terminal. Each cable car trip takes about 15minutes and is pretty impressive itself- hovering above the city to the highest point. Tipp: Visit the sugarloaf mountain in the evening- first enjoy the beautiful sunset and after that the city lights with the illuminated statue of christ. What a view!
The Sugarlouf Mountain staff assissts you along the way and to the three elevators. The cable cars are even and you only have to overcome a small step with a little gap. On the first platform are accessible toilets. So, nothing stands in the way of your next trip to Rio!
